“ObZen”, the eagerly awaited new full-length studio effort by Sweden’s math-metal avantgardists Meshuggah, shall surface officially in Europe on March 7 via Nuclear Blast. According to drummer Tomas Haake, “the album is much more dense, while still being very clear and audible as far as drumparts and guitar riffs. Lyrically it’s quite different from “Catch 33”, more diverse. There is, however, somewhat of a red line or concept running through all of them.”
