There is no new Van Halen album, despite rumours to the contrary.
There have been reports recently that the band – vocalist David Lee Roth, guitarist Eddie Van Halen, bassist Wolfgang Van Halen and drummer Alex Van Halen – were in the studio working on a record for release next year. But Janie Van Halen, Eddie’s wife and spokesperson, has told rollingstone.com:
“What is going around is exactly that, rumours. I don’t have any updates at this time”.
