Last night in front of the Monument of the Soviet Army in Sofia was held the first edition of One Day Overground Festival.
The basic idea of the festival was to bring together on the same stage 6 of the best contemporary Bulgarian underground bands and to celebrate the one day underground subculture’s appearance on the surface.
The fest started just after 7 pm with the first band As Soon As Possible.
After them there were five more bands: EX, Sepuko 6, Propaganda, Kuln and the last one Fyeld, which closed the fest at 10 pm.
Each band played 4 songs, and some of them were specially prepared for the night.
The 30-minutes sets were divided by small breaks in which interesting information about the history of the bands were given.
Interesting fact was that each of the bands re-maded one of their songs with folklore motives especially for the festival.
Last night was the premiere of the first DVD of the band KULN, which was available to buy at the location alongside merchandise of the other bands.
