PET SHOP BOYS Blocked by BLUR

Britain’s electro wave veterans Pet Shop Boys shall release their new album, entitled “Disco 4”, on September 24 via Parlophone.

The CD is going to contain remixes of songs by other artists done by the duo, namely Rammstein‘s “Mein Teil”, The Killers‘ “Read My Mind”, David Bowie‘s “Hallo Spaceboy”, Madonna‘s “Sorry”, Yoko Ono‘s “Walking on Thin Ice” and Atomizer‘s “Hooked on Radiation”, plus two rare mixes of Pet Shop Boys’ tracks “Integral” and “I’m with Stupid”.

Originally, “Disco 4” was supposed to include a remix of Blur’s “Park Life”, too, but the latter’s frontman Damon Albarn refused to sign off on the track, saying it sounds too much like Pet Shop Boys and too little like Blur.
