It doesn’t look as if Portishead is going to make fans wait years and years between albums this time around.
The act plans to start recording a new album this summer, multi-instrumentalist Geoff Barrow told BBC 6 Music News.
While he provided few details about the follow-up to 2008’s ‘Third’, Barrow revealed the act inked a new contract with an unnamed record company, though he said it’s the largest record company in the world.
‘Third’ was Portishead’s first album released since 1997.
