R.E.M. are to release their first official live album on October 18. Simply entitled “R.E.M. Live”, the effort shall contain an entire show by the band recorded on February 27, 2005 in Ireland’s capital Dublin.
“R.E.M. Live” is going to appear in the form of a two CD and one DVD set, featuring following tracklist:

R.E.M. are currently in the studio with producer Jacknife Lee working on the follow-up to 2004’s “Around the Sun”, scheduled for release sometime next year.
