The Red Hot Chili Peppers are suing the creators of the American TV series “Californication” (starring David Duchovny), claiming that the use of this title is a breach of copyright.
The quartet insists that “Californication” is a signature song and album (1999) of their career, and want the TV program to change the name and hand over any profits so far from the series.
