Legendary Bulgarian guitari hero Iliya Karayanev a.k.a. Licho The Stones has passed away aged 76, marica.bg reports.
Karayanev played in TANGRA between 1976 and 1978 – in the photo above he’s pictured with bass player Konstantin Markov. Previously both were part of Emil Dimitrov‘s Blue and White and of Lily Ivanova‘s band.
In 1984 he moved to Sweden, but returned back to Plovdiv in the 90s. His last project was called LITCHO STONES BAND.
