ROGER WATERS Revisits The Wall

Roger Waters is taking Pink Floyd’s The Wall on the road this fall for a 36-date North American tour. The trek starts on September 15 in Toronto and wraps on December 13 in Anaheim.

Prior to this run, the 1979 concept album has only been performed in its entirety 31 times. Pink Floyd did it in 1980-81 with limited engagements, plus Waters played it in Germany in July of 1990 to commemorate the fall of the Berlin Wall.

Three decades ago, when Pink Floyd played the album in its entirety, a white brick wall was constructed between the band and the crowd throughout the show as films were projected onto the wall and giant inflatable creatures floated above the audience. It was considered to be one of the greatest stage shows of its time, and now Waters hopes to up the ante.
