The new project led by Jane’s Addiction frontman Perry Farrell, Satellite Party, has made its first video, “Wish Upon a Dog Star”, available for viewing HERE. The track comes off Satellite Party’s debut album, “Ultra Payloaded” (view cover in the left), due on May 28 via Columbia Records.
Joining Farrell are guitarist Nuno Bettencourt (ex-Extreme), Kevin Figg (drums), Carl Restivo (keyboards and bass), and Perry’s wife Etty Lau Farrell on backing vocals. The CD also features guest appearances by a.o. Flea and John Frusciante of Red Hot Chili Peppers, Peter Hook of New Order, and Fergie of Black Eyed Peas.
