The Smashing Pumpkins have a full line-up again, as Nicole Fiorentino (pictured) has been officially confirmed as their new bassist.
She’s the latest in a line of female bassists that started with D’arcy Wretzky, and also included Melissa Auf Der Maur and Ginger Pooley. She joins Billy Corgan (vocals/guitar), Jeff Shroeder (guitar) and Mike Byrne (drums).
The Pumpkins are to release the limited edition EP ‘Teargarden By Kaleidyscope Vol. 1: Songs For A Sailor’ on May 25.
