Last night, May 22, the resurrected Smashing Pumpkins did their first concert in almost 7 years. The band performed in France’s capital Paris, revealing not only some new songs, but most of all its current line-up.
Only two of the group’s original members are on board now, namely mastermind Billy Corgan (vocals and guitar) and drummer Jimmy Chamberlin. The new additions are Jeff Schroeder (guitar), Ginger Reyes (bass) and Lisa Harriton (keyboards).
Smashing Pumpkins started touring in support of their upcoming studio album, “Zeitgeist”, due to be released on July 7.
