Oslo-based melodic thrashers Susperia shall release their new studio album “Cut from Stone” on April 2 in Norway and April 9 in the rest of Europe via Tabu Recordings. The follow-up to “Unlimited” (2004) was recorded at Strand Studio in Oslo, Norway during 2006.
The upcoming CD by vocalist Athera, bass player Memnock, drummer Tjodalv (ex-Dimmu Borgir), and guitarists Elvorn and Cyrus consists of 11 songs mixed by Daniel Bergstrand (a.o. In Flames, Meshuggah, Soilwork) at Dug Out Studios in Uppsala, Sweden, while the production was handled by Susperia and Marius Strand.
