This week witnessed the official release ofВ former Nightwish singerВ Tarja Turunen‘s new studio album, “My Winter Storm”, out via Universal Music Group.
The CD (view cover below) has been recorded with producer Daniel Presley (a.o. Faith No More and The Breeders) at Los Angeles’ Remote Control Studios, owned by film music composer Hans Zimmer (a.o. “Gladiator”, “Black Hawk Down”, “Pirates of the Caribbean”), in a line-up completed by bass player Doug Wimbish (Living Colour), guitarist Alex Scholpp (Farmer Boys), drummer Earl Harvin (a.o. Seal, Pet Shop Boys, Air), and keyboarder Torsten Stenzel (a.o. Moby, Tina Turner, Vanessa Mae).
