Veteran Bay Area thrashers Testament have set “The Formation of Damnation” as the title of their upcoming studio album, due in early 2008 via Nuclear Blast. The effort is being produced by Andy Sneap (Exodus, Machine Head, Nevermore, Arch Enemy and many more).
Testament are working on the CD in a line-up featuring Chuck Billy on vocals, Alex Skolnick on lead guitar, Eric Peterson on rhythm guitar, Greg Christian on bass, and drummer Paul Bostaph, known for his work with Slayer, Exodus, Forbidden and Systematic, who recently replaced Nick Barker.
