The Futureheads to release a second album

U.K. rock act the Futureheads will release its sophomore album, “News and Tributes,” June 13 via Vagrant/StarTime International. It’s the follow-up to 2005’s self-titled debut, which was issued by Sire in North America. In the United Kingdom, “News and Tributes” is due May 29 via Warner Bros. The single “Skip to the End” will precede it by two weeks.

“News and Tributes” was produced by Ben Hillier (Blur, Depeche Mode). The first pressing of the North American version of the set will feature three tracks previously released on the “Area” EP.
