The rumours turned out to be true – The Police will reunite! The band announced they will play together on stage for the first time in 23 years to perform at the Grammy Awards. The legendary rock trio will open the ceremony on February 11 at the Staples Center in Los Angeles.
The reunion of original members Sting (vocals and bass), guitarist Andy Summers and drummer Stewart Copeland coincides with The Police’s 30th anniversary. They are soon expected to confirm the dates of their first tour in more than two decades.
