THE ROLLING STONES Leave EMI

After Radiohead and Paul McCartney, The Rolling Stones have become the next big name to leave EMI. The band’s current five-year deal with the label, estimated at ВЈ14 million, expires in May, but Mick Jagger & Co. have already signed a new one-album record deal with Universal Music.

Meanwhile, The Rolling Stones will release a CD to accompany the Martin Scorsese film “Shine a Light”, in which they are filmed playing two live gigs at New York’s Beacon Theatre in 2006.В Read more about itВ here.
