The Furries are putting the finishing touches on the follow-up to Venus in a studio in Cardiff, Wales. The album’s so new, the band hasn’t even settled on a name for it yet, though it assures fans it’ll be a rocker this time around.
“Musically it’s based around riffs and grooves we’ve been playing around with over the last few years,” a statement from the band read.
“We have enough now for a whole album so even though it’s still very melodic we thought we could leave off the acoustic ballads for the time being.”
Digital fans will get first crack at the album, as it arrives on the band’s official website March 16. You’ll have to wait until April 21 to literally get your hands on a copy, though, when Rough Trade drops the physical version into stores.
