It seems that NICK CAVE got bored with putting out albums with melancholic ballads and is returning to the dark psychosis of the time before he stopped the alcohol and the drugs.
Recently Cave announced his new project, Grinderman, which includes some of his old pals from his previous band The Bad Seeds – Warren Ellis, Martyn Casey and Jim Sclavunos.
Cave has posted about the band on his official website, saying that the new group “sound different to everyone, including themselves.”
In the Grinderman profile in MySpace has already been uploaded a song, entitled “No Pussy Blues”, which, according to few diehard fans sounds like “the good old Nick Cave” from the 1990’s when he sang mostly about love, sex and murders.
According to the “Filter” magazine, the band will make its debut live appearance at a festival in England in April and will put out an album later in the year.
