On Saturday, Ireland won their first Grand Slam in the 6 Nations since 1948. So no wonder people in Ireland are extatic. There was a fantastic atmosphere at the Millenium stadium in Cardiff when after the dramatic finale, the crowds were chanting the name ofВ sipper Brian O’DriscollВ and the PA at the stadium playedloudly ‘The boys are back in town’, proving that it’s Thin Lizzy and notВ U2 the most iconic band of the Irish Nation.
It’s a bit different in the North part of theВ Island, but people were still happy with this major rugby achievement.В
And 2 days after the historicalВ Grand Slam, is the release date for ‘Crooked Timber’ -В the new album by Therapy? – the most important alternative band to hail from there.
We like the album a lot – check Maya Davidoff‘s review HERE.
