THOM YORKE defends fish

The Radiohead frontman, Thom Yorke, who often makes statements, unrelated to music, this time defended the fish.

In a posting on the official site of the band, Yorke expressed his anger with the huge amounts of fish ordered by supermarkets and the enormous nets that drag everything up. “Not that I eat meat or fish, but we are fishing to extinction”, he wrote. “I respect people’s right to eat fish. but every time I watch the guys in the band sitting down to their whatever it is with scales I quietly wonder how it’s arrived.”

The singer also said the band were having a week off recording and revealed sessions for their forthcoming album are going well.

“We had a good week in the studio last week,” he added. “Finally things are growing.”
