Dream Theater vocalist James LaBrie, Ukrainian tenor Vladimir Grishko and his German colleague Thomas Dewald, united as The 3 Rock Tenors, have recorded an album with the opera-oriented rock project True Symphonic Rockestra, lead by guitarist Dirk Ulrich of the German band Giftig.
Three of the 21 songs (among them rock version of classics by the original The Three Tenors – Placido Domingo, Jose Carreras and Luciano Pavarotti), namely “Granada“, “Nessun Dorma” and “Libiamo“, are now available for free download at myspace.com/tsrproject and tsr-project.com.
True Symphonic Rockestra’s album shall surface in February 2008.
