It appears that the rumours of a new Van Halen album are right on the money.
An official statement from the band’s publishers, Warner/Chappell Music, not only confirms that their agreement with Eddie and Alex Van Halen has been extended, but tellingly ends with the following line:
вЂThe group is currently in the studio recording an album with [David Lee] Roth that is due for release in 2011.’
This would be the band’s first studio album with Diamond Dave since 1984.
