THE HIVES have released ‘Paint A Picture’, the next single from their upcoming album The Hives Forever Forever The Hives. Watch the accompanying Lichtenstein-inspired music video below.
‘Paint A Picture’ was debuted on Later… with Jools Holland earlier this month and follows previous single ‘Enough Is Enough.’
The track is standard-fare for THE HIVES; fuzzy guitars riffs and expletive-laced lyrics, complete with a half-time chorus breakdown. The music video (directed by Filip Nilsson and Henry Moore Selder) features the band performing in a comic book setting straight out of a Lichtenstein painting.
The Swedish rockers will return to their world tour in July, playing to fans in Australia, North America, Europe, and the United Kingdom.
The Hives Forever Forever The Hives marks the band’s seventh full-length and is set for release on August 29th via Play It Again Sam. It was co-produced by Pelle Gunnerfeldt and Mike D of the BEASTIE BOYS.
