KGB shall present their new album “Swing Time” live on the radio today at noon.

After being staged over four continents over a 24-hour period in 2007, this year’s Live Earth event is set to become a single one. It will be held in December in Mumbai, India, and the first act confirmed to take the stage is Jon Bon Jovi.

The new James Bond theme song, called “Another Way to Die” and written and performed by Jack White and Alicia Keys, is streaming online now at thirdmanrecords.com. The new Bond film itself, “Quantum of Solace“, is due to hit theatres in November.

After leaving Soilwork some three years ago, guitarist Peter Wichers has now rejoined the ranks of the Swedish extreme metallers. He’s taking over from Daniel Antonsson, who replaced him in 2006.

After reuniting with their original vocalist Jonny Santos a month ago, California’s Spineshank have already started working on songs for their next full-length album. Ohio-based masked metallers Mushroomhead will release their second official DVD, simply entitled “Volume 2“, on October 28. The follow-up to “Volume 1” (2005) features two-and-a-half hours of videos, live footage and more stuff.
