Former Murderdolls vocalist Wednesday 13 has announced he’s about to eneter studio to start recording his new solo album this week. The follow-up to 2006’s “Fang Bang” shall be entitled “Skeletons” and is going to contain 20 songs, a.o. “From Here to the Hearse”, “Dead Carolina”, “All American Massacre” and “Not Another Teenage Anthem”.

US alternative rock vets Violent Femmes bass player Brian Ritchie filed suit against frontman Gordon Gano last week, disputing songwriting credits and royalty payments. Ritchie’s suit also alleges misuse of jointly held songs, particularly “Blister in the Sun”, for a Wendy’s ad earlier this summer.
