Sweden’s goth metallers Tiamat have signed a deal with Nuclear Blast. Right now Johan Edlund & Co. are dealing with the songwriting for the follow-up to “Prey” (2003), scheduled to appear via the German label towards the end of the year.

Man Raze are to release their full-length debut album through their own label, Surrealist, on September 20. Dream Theater‘s drummer and co-founder Mike Portnoy has released a DVD entitled “sysDRUMatic Chaos” (view cover in the left). The disc features drum-cam footage from the recording sessions for the band’s latest album, “Systematic Chaos”. The DVD can be ordered for $20 here.

The German alternative rock quartet Liquido is currently working on its new studio album in Berlin. The still untitled effort by Tim Eiermann (vocals and guitar), Wolfgang Schroedl (vocals, guitar, keyboards), Stefan Schulte-Holthaus (bass) and Wolle Maier (drums) shall contain 15 new songs plus a re-recorded older track.

Moonspell are about to record a new album… of old songs. The Portuguese gothic metallers will be re-visiting their early days with co-producer Tue Madsen for an as yet untitled record, due out in October.

Legendary hardcore crew Cro-Mags shall release a live DVD in August. Entitled “Final Quarrel: Live at CBGB’s 2001”, it shall offer a recording of the the band’s last ever show in its classic line-up.
