Italian goth metallers Lacuna Coil have set “Shallow Life” as the title of their new studio album, due in the spring via Century Media. The CD was recorded in Los Angeles with producer Don Gilmore, who has previously worked with a.o. Linkin Park, Avril Lavigne, Good Charlotte, Duran Duran and Pearl Jam.

The “Guitar Hero: Metallica” game is to be released in the first half of 2009. It will include 28 songs from the band, plus tracks by the likes of Alice in Chains, Foo Fighters, Queen, Slayer and Machine Head.
