ALABAMA SHAKES are back with the band’s first new single in over ten years, ‘Another Life’ – listen to it below.
The single is the band’s first release on their new label, Island Records, with more music – including a long-awaited third studio album – expected in the future.
‘Another Life’ was recorded at Sound Emporium Studios in Nashville and produced by ALABAMA SHAKES with longtime collaborator Shawn Everett.
The track arrives as ALABAMA SHAKES are set to embark on the next leg of a reunion tour of North America, which kicks off on September 4th in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The outfit will make stops in cities including Pittsburgh, Atlanta (at the Shaky Knees Festival), New Orleans and Houston before winding up in Mexico City at the Corona Capital Festival on November 15th.
The ALABAMA SHAKES reunion started late last year, when the band made a surprise appearance at a benefit concert in Tuscaloosa, Alabama.
