More than 450 items from David Lynch’s personal archive, including the Twin Peaks Black Lodge red curtain and black-and-white zigzag rug, his director’s chair, home espresso machine, and various prints and memorabilia from his iconic films, are going up for auction.
Presented by Julien’s Auctions and Turner Classic Movies in person in Los Angeles and online beginning Wednesday, June 18th, the action will also offer fans the opportunity to bid on Lynch’s personal 35mm print of Eraserhead; a vintage tan chenille upholstered Boomerang sofa with wood legs and attached end table, the same model of couch used in Lost Highway; a 2012 Danny Ferrington custom console steel guitar with five fretted necks, designed and played by Lynch in his home studio; and his personal collection of Blue Velvet record albums. There’s also an array of camera equipment, musical instruments, books, cloths, and other personal artifacts up for grabs.
Lynch passed away in January 2025 at the age of 78. Beginning in August, several cast members of Twin Peaks will reunite for a US tour, during which the’ll discuss the iconic franchise, meet with fans, and share a special video tribute to the late auteur.
