SOUNDGARDEN will be teaming up with Taylor Momsen ofTHE PRETTY RECKLESS and Mike McCready of PEARL JAM for a special halftime performance at a Seattle Seahawks vs. New England Patriots game. That event will be held at Lumen Field in Seattle, WA on September 9.
McCready will also be on hand for a national anthem performance during the pre-game ceremony.
In 2010, SOUNDGARDEN reunited for new tour and released a new album, ‘King Animal’, on November 13, 2012. The band effectively split up again following Cornell‘s death in May 2017.
Last November Momsen fronted SOUNDGARDEN at their Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony, tearing through a widely praised performance of ‘Rusty Cage’ alongside Mike McCready – watch below:
